We collect the minimum information necessary to operate Retail Edge Trading. This includes:

  • Account information: the email address you use to sign in via magic link.
  • Payment information: if you subscribe, your payment method is collected and processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number, CVV, or full banking details on our servers.
  • Usage data: basic logs of pages you visit, features you use, and which alerts you interact with, used to operate and improve the Service.
  • Support communications: messages you send through our support ticket system or via email.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Deliver alerts and provide access to subscribed features.
  • Process subscriptions, renewals, and refunds.
  • Authenticate sign-ins (via Supabase) and protect your account from unauthorized access.
  • Respond to your support requests and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Send service-related communications, such as billing notifications and important changes to the Service.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.

3. Service Providers

We rely on the following third-party services to operate. Each has its own privacy policy that governs how it handles data:

  • Supabase — authentication, database, and backend storage.
  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
  • Vercel — web hosting and analytics.
  • Discord — community platform; you may optionally link your Discord account.
  • Render — infrastructure for the real-time scanning system.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to operate the Service — for example, to keep you signed in. We may also use basic analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage patterns. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the Service may stop functioning correctly.

5. Data Retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Payment records are retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations. You can request deletion of your account at any time (see your rights below).

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Export a copy of your data in a portable format.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your information.

7. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted storage of sensitive data, and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Users

Retail Edge Trading is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by direct notification. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
